There is literally no better place on earth than Adobos Mexican Grill in Dubuque, IA. Jaime always greets me and asks me about my family. And don't even get me started on the burritos and margaritas. Move over Disney World. This is the happiest place on earth.

This place is pretty awesome. I haven't ate at Adobos in over four years now due to moving to Colorado, but I still miss it for sure. Not too many places like this in Dubuque. Was always one of my favorite places for a quick hearty lunch when I was working in the area. Never left this place with an empty belly.

So different than what it use to be. Its quite an adjustment but it was worth it. Delish and we both got exactly what we wanted.

The food is good and the restaurant is unique. Kind of reminds me of Moe’s but better salsa a different atmosphere. I like visiting downtown Dubuque and stopping here for lunch or dinner.

Best nachos ever! Love the staff. Can buy alcohol here too. The restaurant has hilarious pictures of vegetables if you get the chance, make sure to look on the way to the bathroom!

Their breakfast burritos are one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. Get the breakfast burrito and make sure you get potatoes, and their el Diablo sauce.

When I want great Mexican food quick...this is where to go.

So, tonight for Dinner the boys wanted Mexican, so I told them to hop on the inner webs while we were driving through Iowa and told them to find us a place with local flare and menu. The boys found a great little place in Dubuque Ia for dinner, so we stopped and had a bite. The staff was very nice, helpful, and they made the food right in front of us. We all had Burrito bowls for dinner, and mine came with Mexican Rice, Steak and Chicken, covered with Queso, then shredded cheese, the rest of the fam naturally drug theirs through the garden un like me. 🤣 They were all delicious no matter what way they were made, and B even went back for another Burrito Bowl for round 2. Thanks for the Hospitality Adobos, the experience, and food was great. 😁

Love their burritos, taco salad, and breakfast burritos! You really get your money's worth and everything is delicious! I love it that they use fresh ingredients.

The Adobos truck catered our wedding and it was a huge hit! We settled on a couple different options for people to choose from and a chips and queso bar. They served all of our guests very quickly and everyone was very satisfied! I would highly recommend them for any of your special events!

This is my favorite place to get lunch. The food is great and the prices are very affordable. I highly recommend the nachos. You can get your choice of meet including carnitas, ground beef, barbacoa,and more that I can't name off the top of my head.they also have breakfast options as well though I have never tried them.

The hype is real this was some dang good Mexican food. Food portions were excellent for the price. Nice little place to sit down and eat. Can't wait to go back and eat again.

Everyone had a burrito bowl made just to each person's specifics. My son loved his so much he had 2 bowls. Definitely a great place to eat and great service.

I've been eating at this place since it was a normal Mexican restaurant and I have only great things to say about the food and the people who work there. Honestly, I would eat there much more often but it's hard to finish the entire meal during my 30-minute lunch break and it also makes me really sleepy. But don't let that stop you! This is definitely the best place to go in Dubuque for assembly-line Mexican food. To sum it up: delicious food, huge portions, great prices, and excellent service!

Adobo’s offers the best in traditional, homemade burritos. The filling options have a wide variety, something for every taste. Service is exceptional, fast and friendly. Chef Jaime runs a great place, a local gem convenient for the downtown worker in a hurry who wants a quick, healthy lunch. Great value for the price, no one leaves hungry! Also keep an eye out for their food truck, it offers the same quality and speed.

It's good not alot on the menu and over charge me one time.

I would not consider this to be authentic Mexican. And the portions compared to the cost were disappointing.

Yesterday was our first visit. The place was really clean, nice decor, well lit, and smelled amazing. I love their signage too. All three of us ordered taco salad and were very happy! We will visit again. 3 lunches with drinks $40.

If you enjoy Pancheros or Chipotle, you will absolutely LOVE this place! In my opinion Adobos is better than either one of them.The ingredients are made locally and are superb. I eat here on a regular basis and I have never been disappointed. The only drawback is during lunch, there is limited space to eat. However, during nice weather, take it to-go and enjoy it in the Town Clock Plaza right across the street.
